About Me

Born and raised in the Hudson Valley NY, Lisa Craven tapped into art and music at a young age, and has been creating personalized art pieces since 1999. Originally, working in acrylic paint with glass mosaic overlays, Lisa’s work featured smooth thoughtful lines and popped with both color and texture.

Now a Sarasota based artist and musician, Lisa’s art has evolved into making jewelry from found natural materials and semi-precious stones. She enjoys working in a variety of media and mixed-media. Her pieces are usually inspired by and created specifically to harmonize with the recipient. When she’s not creating art, she’s creating music or enjoying nature with her husband Al, and their sweet dog Bruno.

I am inspired by nature, and I love working with natural stones and crystals. I like to create art that gives off good vibes!

My work is eclectic, ranging from painting, sewing, and just about anything I can make with my own two hands!

In addition to all things art, I have a passion for music and enjoy playing acoustic guitar and percussion for my duo “Boom Chick & The Raven”
